Description
Black Foam dressings should not be placed into tunnels or areas in the wound unable to be visualized. The prescriber may consider a non-adherent, non-occlusive alternate for those areas. The clinician may loosely place extra non-adherent, non-occlusive dressing material into areas of undermining and tunneling, at the order of the prescriber. The decision type for material used is based on prescriber preference.
